As an ordained United Methodist Elder, I am beginning my 4th year as pastor to the congregation and community of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and my 26th year in ministry in the United Methodist Church.  I have served churches in Iowa, Texas, England, and North Carolina as well as serving as Chaplain and Director of Religious Life for six years at one of our United Methodist liberal arts colleges.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and French from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi,  and my Master's of Divinity from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.  In the 2000's, I completed a certification of Spiritual Direction from the Spirations Institute for Interfaith Spiritual Formation and Direction in Iowa.

I have lived in Fishers for seven years, arriving here when my husband received a job transfer to Indianapolis.  Coming as pastor to Bethlehem UMC in the fall of 2016, I joined a long line of pastors faithful to God's mission within the wonderful 175+ years of Bethlehem UMC's presence and ministry in NorthEast Fishers.  I am committed to proclaiming the word of God for people today and serving those in need.  I believe that we are all created in God's image and can serve our community and world with love, compassion and ministries of justice.
